With a keen interest in art since an early age, Donna Buchan's art experience began with training in classical and vocational art, including Graphic Design at Sheridan College, Oakville. After 15 years experience in the Graphic Design industry, Donna moved to Muskoka and joined in launching both a popular artists' co-op and a successful retail art supplies store - where a new kind of education began.

Donna creates a variety of work in varied media, mostly acrylics. As her artistic style evolved, she began experimenting more extensively with acrylic paints, mediums and grounds, recently expanding into mixed media. Donna's technical knowledge of artists’ materials gives her an edge when it comes to technique and handling media in unconventional and exciting ways, allowing her to create effects that genuinely express her artistic spirit.
