Faux Encaustic & Textures

Using supports such as paper, canvas, and birch panels, you will play with mediums and acrylic paints to produce fascinating works of art. The transparencies created in the faux encaustic process are truly amazing! For the curious , encaustic painting dates back to ancient Greece and Egypt and is a process in which the primary medium used is hot wax. People-scapes/Landscapes With Panache

Jazzing the modern medium; understanding acrylics

Join Rheni for an acrylic demo and discussion at ART for ALL CANADA! Keeping it Green in your Acrylic Classroom or Studio

Addressing the conundrum between working with Acrylic Paints in the art classroom while remaining ecologically responsible, Rheni Tauchid, author of The New Acrylics and New Acrylics Essential Sourcebook, provides tips and tricks for working with modern paints in a green class room or studio.
