I am a Canadian landscape artist, Jim White Fine Art. I am very particular about the paint that I use. I use mostly heavy body acrylic such as Golden or Liquitex, however, they are not made in Canada. I began looking for a Canadian alternative and found Tri-Art. To my surprise they out performed most of the paint I have been using. The best thing I like is they don’t sag as much as the others, which means they show brush marks very well. This works well with my impressionistic style of painting.
I recently purchased my first paints from Tri-Art. I normally use Golden fluid acrylics but wanted to give a Canadian company a try. I am VERY impressed with the pigment load, coverage and feel of their paints (white, several yellows and pyrrole red light). I will definitely be purchasing again!!
I recently ordered a set of high viscosity acrylic paints from Tri-Art (a Canadian company), and I’m extremely impressed with both the product and the service. The paints arrived well-packaged, with no leakage or separation, and the colours were even richer in person than they appeared online. The pigment saturation is excellent—rich, bold colour that doesn’t dull or flatten when dry. A small amount goes a long way, and the consistency stays even across colours.
I have been using Tri-Art mediums for about 20 years. I have tried all the other brands and Tri-Art polymers continue to perform the best for me. They are also Canadian which is a bonus!!
Turquoise is a beautiful colour that's often associated with the ocean, sky, and nature. It's a colour that can be both calming and invigorating, and it has a certain vibrancy that can bring energy to a space or artwork.
I love the paints that I just received and they are throughout my latest original. I found you originally with the mirror paint that I have used over the years. I love the vibrant colours that I just received and will be collecting more in the future.

Tri Art High Viscosity Acrylics
Recently I ordered several Tri Art High Viscosity Acrylic paints as I had heard good things about their pigment load and great workability. I couldn’t be happier with their pigment ones I tried. I love the Titanium White and will order more, along with some other colours! I highly recommend these versatile paints, especially for those artists like me who love colour and painting loose and bold!

Carbon Black
It is absolutely amazing! I love Tri-Art paint. Started buying it in 2020. However, when I went back to Omer des Serres (art store) they claimed the company had gone out of business. I would have bought paint much sooner online had I known the truth.

Great product
The Neutral Grey Gesso is thicker that other products I have used; it flows on easily, covers well and provides an excellent working surface. It is light enough to allow the user to modify the colour, etc. I will buy it again.
I love this ink ! Used for linocut block printing. I have printed on card stock and rag paper. Will definitely recommend & will be purchasing again. So happy to finds a quality product made in Canada.
