Cerulean blue is the essential sky blue. This expertly formulated Cerulean Blue Hue is an economical alternative to genuine cobalt stannate. Comprised of ultramarine blue, titanium white, and phthalo blue (green shade), our Cerulean Blue Hue has a deep warm blue mass tone with the cooler, slightly green undertone of genuine cobalt stannate. Cerulean Blue is valued for its opacity, making it a highly versatile colour, both as a mixing compliment and for its mass tone.

My Go-To Green

I paint landscapes, and this is my go-to green. I can mix a nice olive by adding burnt sienna, a forest green by adding ultramarine, and brighten it with cad yellow. It has good coverage. I prefer it over all other brands.

The shine on this is not overpowering, but it’s definitely there! Love the sassy sparkle when dry. Texture perfect for brush work, blending into night sky of an abstract nightscape. Will be resined, it’s perfect.
