Tri-Art Manufacturing is a family-run company founded in Kingston, Ontario in 1994. What began as a small paint-making operation in the back of Art Noise, a local art supply store and gallery, has grown into an internationally recognized brand trusted by artists around the world. From day one, our mission has been simple: to create the best possible materials for artistic expression.

Unlike coatings or wall-paint manufacturers who branch into fine art products, Tri-Art has always been dedicated exclusively to making fine art paints, by artists for artists. Our team of makers and innovators continually refine our formulations to deliver professional-grade quality across a diverse range of materials—from acrylics, oils, and watercolours to inks, tempera, and specialty lines.

Today, Tri-Art operates from a 100,000+ square-foot facility, employs over 70 local staff, and produces more than 20 distinct paint lines along with in-house packaging.
