Burnt Umber is a staple of classical and limited palettes. It is not only useful for its brown mass tone, but also as a mixing compliment to darken all colours in place of black. Our variation of Burnt Umber is slightly warm, with a faint yellow undertone. All natural earth colours will vary slightly from batch to batch as they are unadulterated.
