Pigment Description

Pyrrole Red Medium is an intensely saturated, near neutral red, with a blue leaning undertone. Pyrroles are the ultimate modern reds. Use Pyrrole Red Medium as a non-toxic replacement for Cadmium Red that is just as opaque, but much cleaner mixing. The high tinting power of Pyrrole Red Medium makes it an excellent inclusion in the modern palette, holding its own when mixed with titanium white.

PYRROLE RED MEDIUM

I just received these paints and so I tried out the red today. I LOVE it....it is so vibrant. I paint a lot of poppies I am going to really enjoy these paints. I had never used them before, but was recommended I try them, and I am so happy I did.
