Sodium aluminum sulfosilicate (better known as Ultramarine Blue), has been transformed under intense heat into this incredibly enduring pigment. Ultramarine Violet (Blue Shade) is a deep, blue leaning violet, with an earthy character. Use as mixing compliment to create more natural colours than Dioxane Violet, or apply as glaze to bring outs its subtle blue leaning undertone.
