Not all fabric is alike

I was surprised to see that many of the fabrics included in the pad have a thick plastic/rubber backing. This heavy backing will make it nearly impossible for me to use them for my purposes. Very disappointed with most of the other pieces as well. A very drab collection of upholstery-like fabrics.
