As a collage artist I use gel medium a lot.
In my search for Canadian acrylic mediums I came across the Tri-Art line of materials and am pleasantly blown away. Their gel medium is exceptional, perfectly smooth with great adhesion. I’m very happy with it and will be ordering more as the need arises.
My daughter has really enjoyed going. Staff are friendly and fun. I , as the parent, appreciate the flexibility of the drop-in structure.
I am slowly replacing my paint jars with Tri-Art paint. I love buying Canadian products and this is a good one.
Excellent pigment load and very intense colours.
Can be used for watercolor painting - sized, very strong, allows for wet in wet, is much like Chinese mulberry papers. Its heaviness can potentially alleviate the need for mounting on backing paper. Very suitable for gongbi painting.
Obviously good quality products. I used the brushes with watercolour paint I already have and like them very much. The tin set is awesome and will used it on the trip this summer. What I was really impressed with was the customer service. I had a small issue with my order and contacted customer service and they took care problem was fixed right away.

The facilitator was supportive and helpful, offering thoughtful tips while still also allowing the process to remain personal and self-directed, and creating time for participants to share with one another. The atmosphere felt calm and encouraging, fostering openness and connection. Overall, it was a meaningful experience for anyone looking to explore themselves through creativity. I enjoyed the class and was surprised how much depth I got from it.
Two tubs of white paint. I like the plastic jars. They are sturdy unlike the bottles that hold your fluid acrylics.

I tested out a variety of black gessos before landing on Tri Art's version. I love this gesso as it is opaque and smooth with a matte finish.
Easy to apply, makes everything look more pulled-together and finished.

I found this product to be comparable to Golden High Viscosity acrylic paint which I was using before the recent political climate. What I love about this product is it is Canadian made and it has become my go to acrylic paint.🇨🇦
