I've been using another well-known brand of acrylic paints for years now. More often than not, the paint would be thick and hard to spread, even with the addition of liquid acrylic medium. Wanting to try a Canadian brand, I was intrigued with the ad I saw on Facebook and ordered a set. I just finished a painting today and...wow. Buttery texture, rich pigment...I've finally found the brand I love painting with. Give it a try and compare, you'll see what I mean. Kudos to Tri-Art for these wonderful acrylics.
Fantastic product with excellent cure
So far, I've only done a paint swatch with this paint. Very creamy, beautiful jewel tone and almost juicy looking. Can't wait to put it to use. Gorgeous colour.

This Cerulean blue paint in a 250ml jar was very satisfying to open because of its deep, buttery viscosity and impressive colour mass.

I was very happy with my recent purchase of high viscosity paints. To have a Canadian go to brand in important to me. These paints tick all the boxes and are comparable to other high end brands.
One of my favourite colours and this is a great example great to use in layers or with a bit of white for foliage highlights
I have used white and black gesso but this grey is my favourite.
Recreating with layers ancient Roman glass - Interference Violet (and the rest of the Interference colours) were invaluable. Layered textures with colours subtle or more intense worked very well.
