Zinc white is ideal for mixing light colours. Semi-opaque, with much less tinting strength than Titanium White, it  shifts colour hue less. Zinc White is our coolest, birghtest white.

Tri-Art Zinc White Oil colour

I like working with more transparent layers and Zinc white is extremely useful on my palette as a great mixing white.
