Pigment Description

Bismuth Yellow Light is a palest, coolest green. Lemon yellow in mass tone, with with a nearly identical green leaning undertone to match. Composed of pure bismuth vanadate, Bismuth Yellow Light is the ultimate modern update to Cadmium Yellow Light. Bismuth vanadate is non-toxic, environmentally friendly, and cleaner in chroma than Cadmium Yellow Light, with an equally strong opacity. Use Bismuth Yellow Light an  ideal cool yellow for mixing brilliant greens.

Modern blue shade mix problem

During my selection between the classic and the "new" modern Ultramarine, I selected modern because it seemed more vibrant than the classic in the website. But what the site colour analysis failed to do is not indicating how the colours affect other colours during mixing. Now, I have a big problem.
Not only is the colour vibrant, which it is good, but the hue is in the red shade and its value is lighter than the classic Ultramarine.
My current painting is based on the classic blue-which is in green shade and darker in value. NOw no matter How I mix the modern blue I can not colour match my current blue, and all its saturated shades and tints in the canvas. NOw , My grey shades of blue are off value-aka out wack!
Had I known this problem if was stipulated on the site, I would picked the classic. Right now I only used .5 percent of the tube, and because of this problem my work is on hold . Let me know if I can exchange this item for the classic Ultramarine. If yes I will send you this modern blue tube back for an exchange. If not , let me know, so I can go to buy some golden Ultramarine blue (green shade) -as indicated it all of golden tubes somewhere else, because I'm in Markham and not driving all the way to Kingston nor ship courier for small tube of paint. Let me know asap, as I need to finish my work; everything is on hold because this modern blue dilemma.

Thank you

The best

Not sure how valuable my opinion is on this since im pretty new to painting itself but by far out of the 8 brands of acrylics that ive tried tri-art as surpassed! it dries fast but not too fast so you cant rush a quick blend in there , spreads like butter but is thick like marshmallow fluff dillutes extremelly well with water and the coverage is unreal opacity is next level ! im sold never will i ever buy anywhere else !
