I picked-up some of this 'solid' ink in Peterborough, & it is gelatinous. I was desparate to finish a project, so I used some & it is amazing! I can raise the viscosity with water or specialty medium, but I just use it raw to age & darken my artwork with texture! It resembles oil or ooze. Thank you Tri-Art!

Pigment Description
Transparent Gold Oxide is mixture of transparent red oxide and Isoindolinone yellow. Although red-brown in mass tone, Transparent Gold Oxide has an earthy yellow-orange undertone. Transparent Gold Oxide surpasses traditional earth colours with greater intensity of colour and transparency. Use as a mixing compliment in place of traditional earth pigments or apply as a glaze to reveal its rich yellow-orange undertone.
