Cadmium Red Light is complex, slightly dusky, near-orange red with an intensely yellow leaning red undertone. Tri-Art's Chemically Pure Cadmium Red Light is made from the highest grade of cadmium Selenosulphide available yielding the highest colour intensity and cleanest mixing possible. A favourite of 20th century painters, this opaque red is a versatile pigment in academic and classical palettes. Not intended for airbrush or use with children.
